Architectural Technologist
Gordon is an excellent Architectural Technologist with over 15 years experience in the Architectural Design Sector, continuing a long standing family tradition of working within the building industry. In fact, he has a knowledge base that the office relies upon.
He prides himself on his extensive knowledge of all forms of construction and the Technical Building Standards. His thoroughness extends to his execution of production drawings and detail design, including working closely with the contractor to establish a good working relationship on-site and maintain the quality of the build as it progresses.
Gordon recently designed and self-built a stylish contemporary 4 bedroom house (Davaar House). His bespoke and meticulously detailed house is a reflection of the importance that Gordon places in quality and attention to detail of the building process and continues his father's (Bob the builder) mantra that ‘a job worth doing is worth doing well.’
His house was featured in both the ‘Sunday Times Property Supplement’ and also featured as the cover story in the June 2008 issue of ‘Homebuilding & Renovating’ magazine. See our 'Awards' page for more information.
